"I want to have your babies, especially Nick's" - Noel Fielding

Bio:"Fuck Yeah!"

Singer Kitty La Roar and singer/pianist Nick Of Time are larger than life characters. It all started with a weekly residency at notorious The Soho Revue Bar that became a legend. Nick stomped the baby grand and Kitty writhed on top. Mixing up

diva songs and jazz with rock (e.g. Sinatra/Radiohead) became their trademark and inspired a new show. They Performed at Hugh Hefner’s 80th, Graham Norton’s 40th and at The End’s Christmas party.

But it wasn’t just all partying, they did burlesque too! It was a scene they slid into comfortably, with Nick’s Jazz (played Ronnie Scott’s with his band at 19yrs), Kitty’s performance skills (Goldsmith’s drama degree) and a natural tin-pan alley style. Their diaries burst with shows at Volupte, The Boogaloo, The Black Gardenia and The Green Carnation.

Adding their own songs to the shows, they hosted the Cabaret tent for Ciaus College Cambridge

Ball and performed at The Kimberley Festival and People Like Us. It is the club feel of their performances with unique jazz and cabaret roots that you can feel in The Abominable Mashups Show.

Kitty and Nick have also released an album with their pop band Lucky Victims (iTunes). There is more than a bit of Mashup madness in the album, with crashing jazzy piano and of course sexy rock vocals. Yes... you can mash rock and jazz together!
"When asked to choose between two things I adore...
I always have both!" Kitty
